ABOUT THE ROLE 

Aurrum is seeking a Lifestyle and Care Assistant, to join their supportive care home team. As the Lifestyle & Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering quality personal care and meaningful engagement opportunities that stimulate and enrich the lives of our residents.    

Responsibilities will range from facilitating and delivering lifestyle and social activities, as well as providing support and assistance with residents with their daily living activitiesThese activities may include assistants with meals, assisting residents to ambulate and from time to time, assistance with personal care requirements.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU 

  • Certificate III / VI in Individual Support or Ageing Support (or equivalent is desired) 

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Leisure and Lifestyle (recommended) or happy to study your Certificate III in Individual Support or Ageing Support.  

  • Valid National Police check (specific to work in aged care) 

  • COVID-19 Govt issued vaccination certificate (minimum 3) 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion of providing person-centred care to our residents.
