As an HRBP, you will play a crucial role in partnering with our Regional Managers and General Managers to align HR strategies with organisation goals. The position will be located in our Sydney Circular Quay offices and will require travel both within the state and inter-state on need basis. You will be responsible for providing strategic HR support, partnering on ER, IR initiatives, driving employee engagement, talent management, and fostering a positive work culture within our Aged Care Homes.

The position will report to the Group Chief People Officer and is a single contributory role. Therefore, will require someone who can operate and navigate complex people issues independently.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Proven and relatable experience with expertise in Industrial Relations and Australian legislation
• Experience in managing performance and Employee Relations matters
• Ability to interact with Unions and handle Workers Compensation and Fair Work matters, independently
• Ability to identify training and development needs in each Home and support leaders in implementing development programs
• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety protocols and standards
• Demonstrated success in coaching and advising managers with a collaborative and inclusive style
• Ability to navigate a dynamic, fast paced environment
• Proactive approach, comfortable with ambiguity, and a continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
