This is an immediate 3-month fixed term leave cover role reporting to the General Manager at our Wyoming Home. Long term opportunities will also be available for the right candidate, based on performance.

The Administration Officer role provides support to the management team and is a key contact for all residents and their families. This role will be directly responsible for a range of administration duties including sales administration and care home recruitment.

You will maintain an efficient and effective onboarding processes for all new team members and ensure the smooth operation of reception.   You will also act as a key point of contact for all staff queries.

To be successful in the Administration Officer role with Aurrum, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role (prior exposure to Aged Care or Healthcare would be highly desirable but not a must)
  • National Police check (specific to work in aged care)
  • COVID-19 vaccination certificate
  • Excellent IT skills and positive attitude toward learning new technologies
  • High level of verbal, written communication and numeracy skills
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience in supporting recruitment / rostering activities would be advantageous
